Emil Tomescu, Asset Manager – Port of NAnaimo

As a member of the senior management team, Emil will provide strategic and managerial leadership in project engineering design, field investigations, procurement and construction management as well as asset maintenance in support of the organization’s objectives.

Emil has had a long professional engineering and managerial career in Europe and Canada. He has held various leadership and managerial positions in private and governmental sectors. In his role as the Director, Project Engineering and Asset Maintenance with Prince Rupert Port Authority in Prince Rupert, BC, Emil supported the organization’s rapid growth by successfully developing and implementing many marine and land infrastructure projects as well as increasing the effectiveness of the asset maintenance functions.
