March 8 – 1000-1600 – Outrigger race of 6 person outrigger canoes per heat circumnavigating Newcastle Island and Protection Islands in a figure 8, starting and finishing at the Brechin Boat Launch.
March 9 1100 -1300 – 30-40 single outriggers circumnavigating along the shores of Newcastle Island and Protection Island.
Safety boats will be deployed and safety rules enforced.
There will be approximately 45 boats on site.
