The annual Silly Boat Regatta will take place on Sunday, July 16th, 2023, which involves home-made boats sailing a course off the beach. A temporary yellow buoy will be placed in the water as a course marker. Approximately 200 team participants with up to 8,000-10,000 spectators.
This event is a fundraiser for Nanaimo Child Development Centre.
