The 56th World Championship Bathtub Race will take place in Nanaimo Harbour on Sunday, July 28th, 2024, starting at 1000 hours Local. The race is expected to end at 1500 hours Local.
The race will start from Nanaimo Harbour, proceeding to Entrance Island, NW to Winchelsea and then SE to Nanaimo Harbour. The spectator areas will be demarcated by yellow buoys. All vessels transiting Nanaimo Harbour must remain outside of the race chute by white and yellow buoys and to maintain a slow speed while crossing the bathtub route. The race will end north of the fishing pier.
