The Nanaimo Visitor Centre team will be setting up a mobile visitor information kiosk on the Harbourfront Walkway to increase visitor engagement and provide a positive impact on visitors, locals and businesses. The team will help foster a positive and safe environment on the walkway this summer. The kiosk will be operated by staff and volunteers and will follow strict health and safety guidelines. They will be set up at various locations along the Harbourfront Walkway.

May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and girls and Two-Spirt People (MMIG2S).  It is also know as Red Dress Day, during which we wear or display red clothing to honor and commemorate missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people.
